SMEs listed on the stock exchange meet investors and analysts

For the third time the General and Entry Standard conference is currently taking place in Frankfurt directed by the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. According to the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the event has in the meantime established itself as the biggest and most successful small and midcap conference in Germany. More than 500 guests are taking part in it. To the more than 60 companies listed in the Entry and General Standards this conference provides an opportunity to meet with and talk to investors and analysts.

Besides company presentations in the course of which annual financial results will be presented the discussion will also include financing and capital market issues discussed from the perspective of listed small and medium-sized entities (SMEs). Thus, there will be talks on issues such as investor relations, financial accounting and corporate governance.

The companies participating cover a large range of businesses: 10 companies each represent sectors such as financial services, software, real estate, media, pharmaceutics, manufacturing industry, technology and basic ressources.

The Entry Standard is a stock exchange segment for small and medium-sized entities looking for simple and cost-efficient access to the European capital market. The average trading volume and the number of transactions per company are more than twice as high as at any other alternative stock exchanges in Europe. The Entry All Share Index has increased by 26% since its start.

The General Standard forms part of the EU-regulated segments of the Deutsche Börse and is based on the legal minimum standards required by the official and regulated market segments. GERMAN
